Nedim Nazerali is a graduate from the London College of Fashion having studied fashion photography. He is now a london based freelance photographer specializing in Fashion and Portraiture.
His personal work takes an artistic and documentary approach into a deeper side of peoples lives and their fashion through portraiture and their environment. Nedim believes fashion is not just about material/clothing, its also about how one lives, ones identity and status in the world today. The fashion in which way people live.
“The Lost Parade” (a continuation from his book, ‘A Day In Brick Lane’) was exhibited at the London Royal Academy of Arts, and London Print Space Gallery, raising the profile of this talented young photographer.
Nedim also exhibited a piece titled “Follow The Light” at I-D Magazine Exhibition 2007, which was also published in I-D magazine (2007 special edition, “safe + sound”). This publication included contributions from people involved in the global fashion industry.
Aside from this he has built a relationship and regular work with The Metropolitan Police, London College of Fashion, Cheil International for Samsung, Sketchbook Magazine, Ethical Accessory designer Laura Queening for AuraQ, Menswear Designer for the Label Giaroye Giaroye and celebrity actor Michael ObioraMichael Obiora.
Nedim is represented in the Gulf/Middle East region by Capital D Agency and you can also buy some editions of his work on their website Capital D Studio.
Other contributions/collaborations include –
Tesco, Puma, Marvel, Hedkandi, MCM, Harrods, I-D Magazine, Sketchbook Magazine, D-Journal, Talent Magazine, shared talent project for South African fashion week 2007, and costume designers and dancers for the closing performance ceremony of Beijing Olympics 2008.
